Some posts are presented as if gospel/factual when they are only personal opinions (or just guessing).

There are several floor plans that have a large bedroom with it's own bath. The Zinnia is one of them. There is also a model with a bedroom and bath just past the garage entry into the house.

Possibly the child is disabled or living there to help the parents!

Is it just My imagination or has a lot of these posts really gone south. I have to tell you I’m a little embarrassed with some of the posts, the information and your thoughts.
Yes there are houses here that have Inlaw suites, we will soon bring our elderly parents to live with us since it’s safer for them. But that is our upbringing, we take care of our parents when the time comes. There are also homes here that have adult children living with them, some have moved here to take care of their parents, we know several. Some children Have disabilities they have lived with her parents their entire lives, Their parents now have decided to move here to enjoy what is all available in TV. Shame on those for jumping on the OP for just asking a question. To the OP yes there are homes here that have what you were asking for and you can come here with your adult child. I am so glad they have a commitment to their child. I am also so glad for some of the people that are posting, they do not have to have commitments or burdens. Because I’m not really sure how they would handle it. |

People tend to forget that TV is set up for aging and disabled peoples; doctors, hospitals, libraries, police stations and the list goes on, all within easy reach of almost every part of TV. |
90% of the crime in The Villages is done by the dysfunctional adult children still living with mommy or daddy.

There are quite a few floor plans where the guest wing comes off the foyer. Use the foyer as a vestibule and add a locking door at the end and you will have self contained guest quarters.
When looking for homes there were a few that were customized for an in-law suite. One did so with a side door for the in-law suite entrance, but you could get to the rest of the house from inside. |
Our previous house in Calumet Grove (a Lantana) had a fourth bedroom (second master suite) that had been added on by the previous owners (a married couple, wife's sister moved in with them). It was huge -- larger than the original master. Did not have a kitchenette or separate entrance but they could have easily been added. The couple who purchased it from us were moving the husband's mother in with them.
When you go to sell, there is a much smaller pool of potential buyers for that type of property so it may stay on the market longer. Just something to consider. kathy |

Adult Kids who usually spend to much time warping their brains with Social Media end up with no professional education, no promising career and no other options but to leech off the parents starting with moving back in or never leaving. :ohdear: |
this is NOT what the Villages is all about. Tell your entitled kid to grow up and buy /rent their own place
