This is depressing because it is not only fact it is happening, it is promulgated by our media and is what we see always, with no let up.

When headlines are about this stuff and so much more, if you have mental anguish to start with it just becomes bigger.

It has become so depressing in my country...so very depressing...So many examples of this stuff and nobody seems to care at all.

I am sorry, but it just seems to me that the last few weeks we have turned a corner......news get worse each day and our leaders pretend it is not happening. Like this country is in a death spiral of sorts.

The problem today is, with 24/7 cable news channels and the Internet, EVERYTHING that happens is all over the world in minutes, often without accuracy. As always, it's the small minority that create problems for the rest of us, who just want to enjoy our lives and not harm anybody else.

Wait until Ebola breaks out in South America and you get
50,000 + a day coming across the border.

But the news will find something to distract you to watch.
Some star will show a boob or say the N word.
That will go on for weeks as a national debate.

But guess what.....they are winning.

The media will highlight problems with ONE SINGLE racial or even SUPPOSED racial incident and ignore real injustice that happens to all races.

The media will talk all night about how we have a group of countries lined up to fight ISIS and all terroism yet ignore the fact we have very very few allies and all we are doing is bombing empty buildings while ISIS is posed to destroy people.

All of this and our leaders are SILENT..nothing...just politics as usual.

Listen, if you do not think our porous borders in the southwest, WHERE WE KNOWINGLY DID NOT ENFORCE OUR LAWS, is not being eyed as entry into this country to do harm, if not already done. Seems the media only will talk about ISIS because our leaders want it that way and ignore the others crossing there.

If you dont think the day is coming as this Ebola spreads where that border will not be used by those WITH EBOLA looking for treatment in the USA.....you just are no thinking.

I have been stewing for days on all of this....and it just feels like it is over and there is a plan and it is coming to fruition.

I feel bad posting on here about this, but I think it is very serious.....extremely serious.

Really? You think praying is going to solve the problem? Billions of people pray all the time. We still have issues. People need to get off their knees and start doing something. God didn't make this mess and God ain't gonna fix it. Praying may make you feel better, but it isn't going to change anything.

This is the first time I have ever heard anyone say anything quite like that.

It doesn't sound at all helpful or respectful and not the least diplomatic.

It really isn't anyway to get anything done but to hurt someone and make them angry.
