Why do that when first you can at least find out if your neighbors need help ???
Great response. Or even offer to pay to have it professionally done. I paid $150 to have mine done last year. Not much.

I have no dog in this hunt, but tip your neighbors off to Finney's Professional Pressure Washing (352-753-3629). They do our Camellia for $60 and as soon as they finish the job they call to schedule your next pressure wash several months down the road. Again, I have no affiliation with them other than being a satisfied customer for many years.

Probably needs a little elbow grease & if they don’t want to do it they better hire someone to help them. This just goes to show you how good they take care of their investment!

I did my neighbors sidewalk with a product called 30 seconds. After a few attempts and a few bottles, I found:
1) Change 30 seconds to 30 minutes
2)Forget hooking it up to a hose. I replaced the hose cap with a sprayer. Spray on full strength, wait thirty minutes, then use the hose to rinse off.
3) Do it two times and the result is very nice. I imagine it can take three times, depending on how long since it was last done.

The sidewalks (white) had turned black where ever a lawn sprinkler hit it. I told her ahead of time that I was going to do mine, and if she was willing to take the chance on me screwing up her sidewalk, I would do hers at the same time.
Life can be very difficult, if you can help someone make it a bit easier, go for it.

Re Wet and Forget. I believe it would work. You do not rinse this product off. Takes awhile for the mold to be removed by rain. I've used this even on my roof up north to kill the lichen and on shady walkways prone to moss. It does somewhat burn plants. Be sure to water/wash off any spray that lands on shrubs or flowers with clear water.

Talk to the neighbor; there may be a valid reason for the condition (e.g. health issues). if they come across as jerks you could then try code enforcement. If the former, perhaps the immediate neighbors could chip in and help out (Christian and good neighbor thing to do).

I saw two houses on the Orange Blossom CC golf course next to each other that were in dire need of a power wash. An eyesore for abutting neighbors. So, I said if it were in my view, knock on the door for a wellness check first, then offer to power wash the house yourself or hire someone to take care of it. It’s short $ for peace of mind.

I love this. Helping a neighbor is what we should all do, especially as we get older. We have to look out for each other. This is what we would want someone to do for someone we love.

When I bought my house I didn’t know about mold. But for some strange reason I never had any. Puzzled. Other homes around me had green on them sometimes. Mine didn’t. Then one day I discovered why. When my neighbor washed his house, he spritzed mine too.
