To help us understand what you are requesting, could you name at least three things TV could consider doing to "address this situation"?

thats a plus..... Publix does have some things....deli wise, that Walmart can't compete with.....flavor wise...

so thats a win..win...

Publix has excellent service. Walmart not so much. That said, I've not had the pleasure of a neighborhood Walmart so perhaps they are different.

What else is being built back in there besides the Walmart?

There will be a freestanding building with smaller storefronts. Courtyard Villas across the street.

Yes you can order your groceries online and that's where you'll park to pick them up. There is also a window you'll walk up to to pay and receive your order.

I have been watching this section since the executive courses opened at Pine Ridge. As construction continued I began wondering what the line of traffic was going to be like entering the Pine Ridge gate, given that both cars and carts have to merge.

I know that the traffic coming off 466 to cross to Buena Vista via Belvedere created a back up at the Belevedere Gate quite annoying especially if you are a cart attempting to merge from the cart path

As to Walmart we are equal opportunity shoppers focused on a balance of price-value (utility for our $) so we shop all stores

80% of grocery’s is now done online, delivery at front door. Saves time, money, and don’t forget to get that odd item.

Same for the Publix. Had a similar situation in Denver when a WM moved in and Safeway had to lower prices almost immediately. Competition=Good.

So will give the Publix (for those who want it) a fun for their $$$. I'd heard the Colony Publix will be remodeling starting in October (just in time for the seasonal folks return).

Yes, the Colony Publix will be remodeling for the first time in its 11 years. Phooey, I'll have to learn where thing are all over again
