It's not safe if it makes you gag and vomit. That's what the taste of tap water in Florida does to me. Connecticut tap water tastes like chlorine but at least it doesn't make me puke.

Wow. If I had that type of reaction to the water I would definitely be getting a whole house filter. I would be afraid to even take a shower..

It only happens when I try to drink it. It's a gag reflex to the taste.

Easy solution is to simply drink bottled water. And since I'm paying extra for it, I get the spring water. Zephyr Hills or even Walmart's own generic brand is fine, but I get Poland Springs at Staples when I have rewards credit there because it's what I used to drink up north and I like it.

As environmentally conscious as you are I can't believe you'd be buying water in single use plastic bottles.. :duck:

People buying lots of toilet paper are fearing being quarantined.

So sorry for you that you can not resort to drinking tap water if bottled water is not available to you. I guess you would have to stay hydrated with soft drinks or Gatorade. Do you have a fridge with a water filter? That is certainly a viable option. Our GE fridge has the best tasting filtered tap water.......better than any bottled water I have tried and that includes Fuji which to me is the best tasting bottled water.

Ok I was mistaken and you are correct (sort of). The three main symptoms are 1. Fever in 99% of patients. 2. Fatigue in 70% of patients. 3. Cough in 60% of patients.
Diarrhea occurs in 10% of patients. These are figures published in the Journal of the American Medical Association.

You don't need 200-300 rolls to be quarantined for 2 weeks. If you do, you needed to see an endocrinologist

Hoarding Pandemic

Hoarding is selfish and it’s a symptom of allowing yourself to be brainwashed by the news. Not only are people hoarding TP, but food as well. It’s not necessary. This “hoarding” pandemic is putting an unnecessary strain on manufacturers, transporting and stores. And is just selfish and unwarranted.

OR a Gastroenterologist.

Cal's Barbershop at Colony was so busy this morning I thought they were giving away a free role of TP with each haircut!

Not to mention they will be sitting in the front of the church talking about how godly they are!

I guess they want to look spiffy when their Armageddon nears the end and their maker calls for them.

Wife went the hairdresser yesterday, if she wanted to use the bathroom she had to ask for paper because some patrons were stealing the TP so they no longer kept it in the bathroom.

I agree. Those plastic bottles that people think are fine because they recycle them can only be recycled at the most twice. Then they end up in the land fill.

$600 for a Nova whole house filter; a couple of reusable water bottles.

You need it (toilet paper) because there is no hand sanitizer.

I'm not sure I understand this statement. Can you explain? Thanks :)

manaboutown 03-19-2020 07:13 PM

Perhaps toilet paper has become a form of currency, like cigarettes in a prison.

Most plastics can only be recycled once, at which point they are normally converted into clothing or some other commodity which can't be recycled again. This means that once the second item reaches the end of its lifespan, so too does the original plastic – and it ends up in a landfill.May 25, 2018

I have read on other sites that they can be recycled up to ten times. But not as bottles. The answer is probably somewhere in the middle.
