I am being treated for Plantar Fasciitis with all 3 of these. I haven't completed all 3 sessions - but after 1 session (of all 3) - huge improvements.
If you are interested - the doctor is Dr. Gegaj - in Lake Sumter Landing. He treated his shredded Achilles Tendon - and is now playing soccer again. He's a very athletic Dr. and strives to get people back on the court - I am a pickleball players as well. Hope this helps.

You know, I may have heard about those modalities...

I knew what it was right away. A partial tear in my Plantar Fascia... I tired to finish the game, but I had to quit...

I popped a handful of Motrin, and I've spent the afternoon with and ice bag on my heel and the foot elevated. No sign or bruising or swelling (which is good), but it hurts like a sumbich when I first get up to walk...

I had to cancel our golf game this afternoon...

I could have sworn someone said that Pickelball was better than golf...

Hopefully, I'll be able to play golf when my daughter and son in law arrive tomorrow evening. We have a tee-time at Evans Prairie on Wednesday...

Well, at least I'll be able to take the cart...

Amazon sells great socks for that support you need plus sneakers with high arch and soft support vision good luck I’ve had to deal with it for years they do have an injection the foot dr can administer good luck

Very interesting. Wonder where in the world of totv we can find a Foot doctor who may be familiar with any of this?

That injury comes from doing something athletic and not stretching prior. You should never go barefoot, stretch your feet, pulling toes towards abdomen before you get out of bed. High arch people are prone to this problem and it can last for months. No substitute for stretching, good arch support and keeping a reasonable weight.

"The wife???" She isn't an object. That's how you would refer to "the table." How about using her name?

"The Wife" does not like to use social media and doesn't want her name plastered all over the innerwebs...

Be thankful I didn't use some of the other names I call her (under my breath...)

I completely tore my plantar fascia when I was playing pickleball. I heard a loud snap when I landed on my foot and then intense pain. I could not put any weight on my foot. My podiatrist put me in a boot to keep the ligament from reattaching. He said we don't really need it! After 2 months I was back to playing Pickleball again (with an orthotic insert), although it took about 8 months for me to be able to walk barefoot in the house without pain. Good luck!

However, in the initial post, the OP did Not mention that he’s a podiatrist! If he had, people wouldn’t have responded the way they did.

Which is why I posted this:

Notice how I said "the thread"?

On the very first page of the thread (post #13, to be specific), I -DID- comment that I am a Podiatrist...

I don’t have a problem with using “the wife”; to me it can be used in meaning like “the Queen” “the Boss” etc “the Wife” or I suppose “the maid” just means a special person.

You can satisfy the other poster by making up a name for the wife. How about Sarsaparilla?
