Be thankful I didn't use some of the other names I call her (under my breath...)

In my house (oops, did I say "my" house?), The Wife prefers to be referred to as "She Who Must Be Obeyed", so I go with that.

I knew what it was right away. A partial tear in my Plantar Fascia... I tired to finish the game, but I had to quit...

I popped a handful of Motrin, and I've spent the afternoon with and ice bag on my heel and the foot elevated. No sign or bruising or swelling (which is good), but it hurts like a sumbich when I first get up to walk...

I had to cancel our golf game this afternoon...

I could have sworn someone said that Pickelball was better than golf...

Hopefully, I'll be able to play golf when my daughter and son in law arrive tomorrow evening. We have a tee-time at Evans Prairie on Wednesday...

Well, at least I'll be able to take the cart...

OP, sorry for your injury. Quit softball and pickleball because of various injuries occurring more frequently than I liked to deal with them. You might say “aged myself out of play.” Sooner or later it happens to all of us. As you know, one can play and enjoy golf much longer even with the aging process and prior injuries. Unfortunately the fountain of youth has yet to be found!

schedule a few foot stretching exercises, take 2 aspirins, and post us in the morning. You'll be as good as new

Well they say Dr heal thyself so wonder if our favorite podiatrist can self operate? Hopefully no surgery is required.

I never read the entire thread before posting. I respond to a post at the time I read that post. It doesn't make sense to me to begin reading a thread that maybe a few pages long then have to go back to the beginning to respond to posts that I wanted to respond to when I read them the first time. It is not only this forum but all forums that I respond as I read.

It would be more precise to say, "Dr heal thy heel..."

But it is feeling a bit better. I was able to play 18 holes today... The only time it really hurt was when climbing out of the damn sand traps...

But that's on me...

Yeah, that makes a lot of sense to me.

Of course, a lot of posts are unfortunately written in the currently popular 'word salad' style, which makes them pretty much unintelligible.
