Leftover Cold pizza for breakfast is the best 🍕
|
Reheating always brings out more flavor than cold. We still like more flavor regardless of time of day. As noted, a toaster oven or air fryer works much better than a microwave which just dries it out.

What is this leftover pizza everyone's talking about? :icon_wink:

Cold pizza for breakfast.
Our household, like others, is split. I love leftover pizza cold for breakfast or any time. My wife thinks the idea of cold pizza is repugnant, and would never have it cold or hot for breakfast. If it's for lunch or dinner, I go along with heating it in a pan (with the lid on) to get the crust nice and crispy.

Pineapple on pizza is a hate crime... Bordering on terrorism... A call to Homeland Security is in order...
Toilet paper? Only one correct answer, decided by the man who patented it... https://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/05...g?v=1620767660 |

Like pizza leftovers cold. Dad would heat them in toaster oven.

Cold for breakfast with a few added anchovies. A half sour pickle makes a nice breakfast side dish.
|
Pizza is GREAT any time of the day or night. IMO it always needs to be heated. Cold is low class or for college kids.
|
I call it bachelor's breakfast the cold piece of pizza from the night before and a hot cup of black coffee

Pizza is best at breakfast. Cold is the way to go for me. Crop Dusting :1rotfl::1rotfl::1rotfl: in a supermarket aisle with gas isn't cool anymore since Covid. :mademyday: |

Most pizza around here hard enough to get down when fresh baked IMO.

Please clarify for me:
Does 'cold' mean right out of the fridge, at somewhere around 32 degrees F? Or does it just mean 'room temperature' (not heated - sat on the counter overnight)? |

Pizza Wars
This might be more complicated than it seems. Raise your emoji hand it you ate pizza from the night before (left on the counter) before your early a.m. college class. This is ill advised (no pun intended) due to food/temp. safety concerns, but it never made me feel unwell. It hit the spot.
That said, it just depends on my mood whether I eat it cold or hot. The thing is, there is something to that melty cheese I always miss from the time it was delivered. Heating it in the micro could have sketchy results, so I always opt for 350F in the oven, where I happen to keep a pizza stone. It takes less than ten minutes, or so, to capture that perfect melty texture again. In a pinch, though, I'm the first one to grab a cold slice. |
Me: cold. My husband: hot.
Hey wait… that should be the other way around… |
pizza is like sex! even bad pizza is still pretty good!

Maybe you could improve your health, cut out the snacks, and cut out breakfast. Breakfast is not the most important meal of the day. A breakfast cereal company came up with that myth!
When you eat two meals a day, or better yet, one meal a day, you’re health will improve. You’ll lose weight, snd the quality of your ski will improve. When you stop eating for about 13 hours, the autophagy process starts. autophagy was discovered about five years ago. It’s the process that allows the bad cells in your body to be repaired and replaced. If you eat three meals a day, plus snacks, you will not experience autophagy. I’ve been doing mainly one meal a day, sometimes two meals a day for several years. I used to be starving if I didn’t eat for 8 hours. Now, about 98% of the hunger sensations are gone, even after 24 hours without eating. I can even sometimes go 48 hours without eating. It’s healthier to eat the way people used to eat hundreds of years ago. It also cuts your grocery bills by about 40%. |
