Concentrated wealth? I'm far from wealthy and these houses are not exactly palatial. I truly wish we were an actual gated community. These little Mickey Mouse white cards are a joke.

Have you seen the premiers flanking both sides of Pinellas near the Palmetto Exec or inside of the Gilchrist Gate? Most of the homes south of 466a are either designers or premiers. To most of America (especially Florida) a 300K + home is a sign of wealth.

I was told it is a Robbery if the home is not occupied. If the homeowner is in the house, it's a Home Invasion.

Folks who have nice houses earned them. People work for years and years before they finally get blessed with retirement. They have the right to live in peace without worrying about some cretin relieving them of their property. Be it a mansion or a shack, no one has the right to invade your property.

This North/South of 466a stuff is stupid. Rod Serling should come back and do a Twilight Zone episode on it, but nobody would take it serious because it is so stupid.

Lifting your door off the tracks can be simply stopped by drilling a correct size hole in the top of the track and running in a large sheet metal screw. Back the screw out enough to just let the door slide. I use several screws along the track. I've done this for years, the door slides as it should but can't be lifted out. If ever needed to replace the door, then just back out the screws and remove them.

I used strips of aluminum attached with Velcro. The PDF was previously uploaded to this thread, however, I like your idea also. Let's keep sharing the knowledge, and keep the bad guys OUT.

I don't know, but it makes me mad. I have a lot of Bealls Outlet jewelry purchased on Monday Senior day with a coupon and I live in the center of The Villages. I hate being left out.
