I think DD in Brownwood is fine. The coffee is better than SB and you can sit outside, drink your coffee and solve the world’s problems.

It is fine, but crowded. I think Brownwood would be able to support another place to get a latte, whether it be a Starbucks or some other chain or even a local coffee bar/bakery place.

Sumter has two Starbucks, including one in Barnes and Nobles, as well as Panera. Spanish Springs has both a DD and Panera.

As for the Guy Fieri location, after my recent trip back to the west coast I’d love a Poki restaurant, or Indian, or a family Chinese restaurant with Dim Sum. But I know for the restaurant to be successful it probably needs to be a national chain that can bring in it’s own proven management team.

As for these restaurants that require larger footprints, there is a lot of unfinished space right on the square in Brownwood, as well as down the street from Bluefin that could house some pretty big restaurants if they added the spaces together. They may have enough full time residents south of 466A now to make that viable.

I feel the same way.

The place that has all the frozen yogurt machines and you pay by the weight of your dish, they have them in the malls.

What to replace Feraris with?

Either a bakery or the kind of yogurt shop that has all the different machines and flavors for you to try and you pay by the weight of the dish after you finish. These are in malls everywhere.( except close by of course)

There is a Peachwave at Colony plaza that is one of these.

I have never been, but it strikes me that a Mission BBQ store might go over well in The Villages.

From Google... "Casual chain featuring BBQ & American sides, plus memorabilia honoring soldiers & first responders."
