Mmmmmm. Love Peter Lugers! Have eaten there many times. Photo Gallery

Especially liked the "doneness" legend on the menu which I don't remember verbatim but it went something like this:

Rare -- Cool, red center
Medium Rare -- Warm red Center
Medium -- Warm Pink Center
Medium Well -- Warm Gray Center, no trace of Pink
Well Done -- We do not guarantee the tenderness of any steak ordered well done.

We still buy Peter Luger's Steak Sauce. Publix and most supermarkets carry it.

How we would love a traditional steak and chops restaurant in The Villages.

How about a real sports bar like BW3, lots of different beers, tons of screens and wings

Absolutely love Buffalo Wild Wings. I think it would be a big draw here!

A really GREAT Chinese restaurant.
One that New Yorkers would give a thumbs up to.

I do love the bakery idea someone came up with.

One that would be a perfect fit is BJ's Brewhouse. Great brewpub, sports bar, and restaurant all rolled into one. Price points are middle of road, great for lunch or dinner. There are several in the Orlando area all ready.

Awesome idea. I definitely am hoping to see restaurants that are -not- chains. Except pizza. I'm pretty sure we won't ever eat pizza again in Florida. Huge mistake thinking we could stomach it. Six different pizza joints in 3 different parts of Florida, and not one of them was edible by any reasonable standard.

First Florida pizza tasting

I had NYPD pizza earlier this week. It was pretty good. And I am used to Chicago style pizza...Lou Malnati's pizza rules :icon_hungry:

A deli. Maybe Jason's Deli.

Wish they would put in some kind of heathy restaurant.

Me too, along with soundproofing panels but I think this takes it out of realistic.

I think people who put down others because their taste in food is different are very unrealistic. The market will choose the winners. It has in the past and will again. I am sure we have among us people with refined taste, but most of them also like "ordinary" things and will whip up scrambled eggs for themselves on a busy day and find them yummy.

I very much dislike equating people who have been financially successful with those who know a good peanut butter sandwich from a bad one. Or only "DINE" at expensive places. Most successful people have been around and know their way but not all are going to spend a lot of money unless it's warranted. It is my experience that monied people are often frugal and careful. That is probably one of the reasons they got "monied".

My daddy always told me that usually the ones who claim to be "monied" have about half the money and class as the ones who don't talk about it.
