My heart goes out to the suffering the man in the wheelchair went through. I hadn't heard about this, but hope somehow he survived unscathed.

Tomato sandwiches are the best!! I never even had one until at a friend's house when I was in my teens. I like to add lettuce and onions, sometimes cheese, but then is it still a tomato sandwich? :smiley:

Growing up (with my grandparents and father) my grandfather grew all kinds of veggies. At dinner time if I was hungry my grandmother would tell me dinner was still cooking and I had to wait. So I would head out to the garden and eat all kinds of delicious veggies off the vine. Tomatoes and raspberries were my favorite.
