I am sure by now the word is out that there sure are a lot of stuff to steal around The Villages.

This post reminded me of a 150 foot crane that was stolen from New York City construction site during the day. Picture a big old crane moving in traffic and no one said anything.

When I saw this article many years ago, I thought, WOW, anything can be taken at anytime by anybody as some people have a lot of nerve.

Just sayin.............

The bank quote came from the famous bank robber, Willie Sutton.

FWIW: Snopes has a different version that's somewhat surprising!

Very interesting as I have always thought they were Willie Sutton's words.

They say Yogi Berra has some remarks attributed to him that were manufactured by comics.

You learn something every day. :)

PennBF - If I'm ever lucky enough to move to TV, I hope I have great neighbors like yours.

That sounds as good as the truck driver that got his tractor trailer stuck under a bridge. When the sheriff came along and asked him if he was stuck, the trucker answered no. He was on his way to deliver the bridge and ran out of gas! Not true story. :evil6:
