There is now a video released of the thugs. Very sad that so many keyboard warriors make such stupid remarks on every post.

It seemed to me to be a GOOD warning that people in The Villages should NOT believe that there is NO crime here. People in The Villages are older and have more wealth than the surrounding area. That fact makes for robberies and confrontations. The boy scout motto is "be prepared". To be prepared you FIRST must be warned.

Disagree. As usual. One does not need to first be warned in order to be prepared. If one "is" always ready, one does not have to "get" ready. I have no warning an emergency is coming, but I am already prepared with a "To-Go" or "Bail-Out" bag and my vehicle parked backed in. Just an example.

I drove by yesterday and saw a silver haired dude pumping and wondered whether he was aware of the incident.

If one watches the video, one has to ponder, what would one do in the victim's place. How close does one let three dudes with hoods up get before reacting in some fashion. Draw on them ? Lean on the horn ? Jump in and lock the door ?

Was gonna say that you can't be prepared for everything. Then I looked at where you have lived (bottom of page). If anyone could be prepared, you are a likely candidate! 😀😉🙂
