Anything can be compared to any other thing, even apples to oranges. I've been exposed to smoke and vapor inside and out and, to me, they are both disgusting and unhealthy. It is a self inflicted addiction that leaves the victim wanting/needing their next fix, much to the delight of the producers. Stupidity in action, imho.

Just a pet peeve of mine, but statements like the above are so illogical. Your neighbor doesn't like the smell of pot. Your neighbor doesn't mind the smell of cigars. Where does the "hypocrite" come into play?

It would be more accurate to say you don't like the smell of either and can't comprehend liking one but not the other.

I don’t know… maybe:
Your pot smoking should not be legal because I don’t like the smell.
But
My smoking tobacco should be legal even though you don’t like the smell.

Seems pretty hypocritical to me.

(and yes, anti-pot as an intoxicant but pro-alcohol is also hypocritical)

Sounds like advice from a lawyer. One who's obviously going to want money up front. A few $1,000 would be a start. More as the "case" goes on.

Not necessarily. If one smokes pot or tobacco in your proximity you will likely be inhaling some of that smoke, like it or not. But if one takes a shot of tequila in your proximity you are not likely going to end up ingesting any of the tequila. So, not really the same. But I understand your point as far as being the individual doing the pot vs alcohol. Both affect thought processes and motor shills in a negative way.
