Maybe you should use the e-cigs instead of the big cigars. It is just common courtesy not to upset the neighbors with cigar smoke. Yes, it is your property and they legally cannot tell you not to smoke cigars but Villagers are good neighbors.
My next door neighbor used to sit on his lanai every afternoon with his radio turned up quite high and listened to Fox News. He and I got to talking politics one day and I told him what I thought of Fox News. From that day on, no more loud Fox New from his lanai. He is a great guy and we help each other out when we can. Great neighbors in The Villages. |

I don't use it in the squares, since it does look like a cigarette and smoke, so I just avoid the confrontation...I go to the smoking area and hang out with the smokers. They always have lots of questions for me about the E-Cig... |

If there is a smoking area and you do not smoke or like smoke, avoid it. If you decide to sit in a smoking area then you have to put up with it.
If a person lights up in a no smoking area, then you a have a reason to tell him (or the manager) that it is a non-smoking area. Most, if not all outside dining areas are smoking areas. BTW: I do not smoke but I understand why others do and respect it. |
