If they keep that behavior up, you won't have to worry about them for long.

I was waiting for the light show, ready to call 911. I guess they didn't read about the guy and his horse killed recently by lightning. People are loco if they stay anywhere outside during a thunderstorm.

Instead of two idiots in danger(and it's their right to be stupid)you actually put another into harms way. I figure you'd fit right in with those out in the storm.

It's actually "in harm's way".

The lightning capital of the world!!!!

I have an app on my phone that detects bad weather coming in; wife also bought me a lightning detector (looks like a pager, mounted it to the upper plastic tray) to use while playing; tells me when lightning is about 10 miles out.

Thunder sends the same message.

In reading Fred's response folks, consider the source. Pfft.

Yes, my heated/cooled enclosed lanai with floor to ceiling glass on 2 sides.

and it's lightning not lightening and when you hear thunder as Bogie says it is time to quit. And if "they" warned you of lightning some would say that "they" were up to something greedy, or seedy or needy. Some do think that of the folks who run things here..

Me, I like a good successful capitalist or three.

And for the other golfers there is always Darwin's Law, and maintenance of a healthy gene pool. Personally, I approve of, and promote capitalism.

The 'misspelling' was from a quote, kc. I think a little fun was being poked in a different direction. :)

As I recollect, it was at the PGA held on Hazeltine Chaska, MN that a pro was struck by lightning and killed (circa 1993)perhaps 1990?

As to the topic itself its one thing to address stupid things...something we are all guilty of but quite another to call people stupid. We all get caught up in the moment at some point when our bio-rhythms are off.

Beside which I'd rather be playing golf in a storm than working:D
