It's a very stage shaped property, so probably more to come.

It will be interesting to see what goes in there.

Would hope for Trader Joes and Greek and German Restaurants

It would be a great spot for a TraderJoe’s. A local micro brewery, a Home Goods Marshals and a drive up type restaurant (skip the roller skaters though) would all be successful too.

Indoor pickleball. Costco. Movie theater. Bowling alley. And the new Katie Bell's.

Dont think you have much of a chance for any of them.

“unfortunately not Shaoxing cooking wine”

I buy it at an Asian grocery when I travel. I have an extra bottle if you need it.

I believe the strange shape is because of the water treatment plant. Some small sections they don’t own.

I’d love to see a bowling alley added in the south. It would also be nice to see some things added that the average senior citizen can participate and get out of the heat in the summer. Maybe a new state of the art movie theater.

As I drive around The Villages (love living here) I have to scratch my head sometimes and wonder who approved some of the recreational activities and the dollars spent to build and maintain them. Currently in Eastport (under construction) is a lake where they will have dragon boat racing. Not something that I see myself doing and probably the same goes for the other 95% of Villages residents.

The new recreation center there will have a rock climbing wall. Go figure? Might be nice for the grandkids visiting; heck, I might even try it once or twice as a 70 y/o guy, but definitely not something that I’d add to my daily activity list.

Three new Wawa gas stations

I think whatever it is will also be marketed towards Turnpike traffic.

True, the 39 acre platt was already OKed by city council and the county for apartments. It also will include retail. It should be a busy, busy place.

I like the way you think. How about a "real" Japanese restaurant. And maybe a Philippino restaurant as well.

And Mediterranean and Lebanese? Something other than pizza and fried foods.

I cook quite a bit of Asian as well. I’m in Orlando once a week, and frequent the Asian markets there. There is a small Korean market in Ocala that is also good. I also supplement with deliveries of non-perishable items. My Asian Market comment was more wishful thinking - there is not a demand here in The Villages (yet anyway) to make that a viable option.

I order Shaoxing cooking wine from Amazon and get it the same day or next day.
