It is a great app. My wiseacre comment was related to your comments about speeding by others. (No golf carts were injured in the production of this post.)

If your ability to drive at the legal limit is beyond your capabilities, don't you think you should be leaving the driving to others-

If you can't react to an emergency situation-the only way I can politely say it is --STOP DRIVING

Memorable character from my youth. I thought it was for us kids only.

Rickey I have a Rat Fink poster signed by Big Daddy Roth a couple of months before he died. Len

I don't know, Bare.

But here is a poem about the general subject;

When you're out with your honey
And his nose his runny
And you think it's funny,
It's snot.

The truth about Tenn. traffic cameras | Columbia Daily Herald

This is interesting about speed cameras.

They should get more unmarked cars out there.

Thank you Tal. The article cited clearly explains all the concerns expressed by many with the application of red light cameras.

the fact is the time allotted for a caution light is 3 to 6 seconds. By manipulating the caution light traps drivers and hence tickets flow or rather cash. Speed traps do the same thing and we did have one town north of here that did so while traveling on 301

I become concern when people speak in absolutes and limit their focus as we are witnessing here.

Do they catch the offender or tag the car that came just before or just after? What is their threshold for citing a driver? If drivers know they are there, it should fulfill its purpose of slowing traffic. But it just seems a little too much Big Brother/1984 for my taste.

I think those are emergency vehicle sensors. When an emergency vehicle approaches, the driver can activate a signal that the sensor picks up to change the light to green for the vehicle. Speeds up response time.

A Snot Shot is someone who constantly plays the better than you theme throughout their dealings with others, always having to be several notches above others in all categories of life. It doesn't matter what you drive or what you live in just enjoy it without stepping on the little people. There is one big offender here but its not my YOB to staighten him out! :cus:

Urban Dictionary: snot shot

I had not heard of that before.

I have often found that the bigger the house the smaller the heart of the person it it.
