Why a Total Lockdown Now?
 

I personally think the statewide lockdown NOW is because if he allows those ships to come to Florida (and it sounds like he will), then he needs a guarantee they’ll stay indoors somewhere. Those folks who fled NY to come to Florida we’re instructed to self quarantine! Did they? I seriously doubt it. The same would happen with the ship people, they won’t! So with this new order, they’ll HAVE TO! And I think this was the reason for the statewide order.... We’ll, THAT and the fact that some are too dumb or entitled to follow a recommendation so now he has to make it mandatory! I personally don’t care.... I’ve been in my house since 12 March and have no plan of leaving!!

Importance of exercise...
 

I'm a pickleball player and a relatively new golfer. When I exercise, I sleep better. Better sleep strengthens the immune system. I'm not a Doctor, nor have I played one on television but I find these truths to be self evident. I hope to continue these activities, although I haven't played pickleball in 2 weeks I may start to play again in small groups of 4 unless they zip tie the pickleball courts :icon_wink:

Do you really believe that everything you read about China is true? If you have ever been there you would realize that wearing masks is a way of life. They put them on in the morning like you put on your lipstick. They have not made any decisions about golf. If the few who insist on gathering like children at the end of the 18 holes to wait for their playmates, then they will probably close eventually. They were very iffy on the news last night when asked about golf as a recreation like walking.

I feel bad for those in misery, but the rest of us don’t have to be miserable with them. That doesn’t even make sense and I’m not even a golfer!

Florida movement and social interactions outside of their homes, only allowing for essential services and activities until April 30. There is a piece of good news out of this, golf is considered under an essential recreational activity.

What is your source regarding golf & the State order??

It's essential that I go outdoors. Walks in the woods, sunsets, kayaking, bicycling. I was harassed last week by a cop because I was launching on a beach to head off shore. He said I had to go, I said I was leaving. He then said I should launch my kayak at the very crowded boat ramp and I refused due to the dangers involved. I asked why no beach launch and he said to keep human separation... he came up to me and had been the only person within 100 feet of me all day.
Just use common sense people. It's not the Bubonic plague.

It's not clear from your comments, so just to clarify: there's no need for a license to own a gun and there's no need for a license to buy a gun. The second amendment applies.
