I don't see any reason to ban activities where social distancing can be maintained.

Clearly many here lack knowledge about the biology & sociology of pandemics & their spread & are only thinking about politics & selfish desires.
Pandemics are democratic, they kill you regardless of whether you are conservative or liberal or independent.
It is evident some here actually "believe" we have counties with no cases still. That is not the case. We don't have enough testing. Testing per capita in USA is very low & limited to symptomatic patients only. (No USA has NOT done more tests per capita than other modern countries. We are way behind.)

If you dont test for Covid, then......(you aren't going to know where it is or isn't.)
This virus is everywhere on this planet. Aka PANdemic, not EPIdemic. In what universe is there a spared county with zero cases? (Is the space station considered a county?)

Seriously, please educate about 1918 pandemic, watch documentaries on it.
Until you've seen those & understand virology, public health & pandemic spread patterns, then things you write in your posts will demonstrate factors about yourself you may not wish to so broadly advertise.
SARS-CoV-2 (virus that causes Covid 19 illness) has exposed the greatest public health fumble and debacle in the history of this country.
Period.
Decide for yourself where the buck stops for this deadly, pathetic early response & failures to shut all states down immediately. If we had done this & early testing & surrveillance & case tracking, we would be like South Korea now. Open for business with freedom to move about the country.
We can starve this virus be depriving it the ability to reproduce...I.e. by depriving it of new victims. If isolation is done in piecemeal fashion, rather than across the board) then pockets of virus stay alive & when other states re-open, these viral pockets will reinfect the states that saved themselves via isolation.
Wonder why death rates are all over map with SARS-CoV-2 (Covid 19 disease)? Watch death rates in USA. You see one number now. Say 2%. Wait until you watch it increase up to even perhaps 10% death rate. Why? When you can't get a ventilator or even get to a hospital, guess what happens to death rate? When hospitals get overrun & fail then death rates will rise. This is already happening in the USA.
