Maybe you could find a scratch & sniff sticker that would give off a foul odor if anyone tried to remove it.:laugh:

The USPS doesn't have any reason to look at the outside of the boxes. They load the mail from inside the building.

Drive down the road from TV and you will see residential boxes painted in all kinds of colors and even shaped like animals. I once had a neighbor who had a COW mailbox in our very upscale neighborhood.

It had never occurred to the HOA to prohibit cow mailboxes.

When I first moved here, I thought it was such a cute thing to do, just like putting our names on golf carts. Can't understand why people make a fuss about something so inconsequential. Have fun, live every day to the fullest, don't sweat the small stuff.. I have cute sparkling tinkerbells on mine and after 6 years, they are still there. I put an American Flag sticker on my mailbox . It was gone the next day and the front of my box was all scratched up. My box is in front of the building and it seems to bother somebody as the boxes in the back are full of stickers. ?????

LMAO... so funny, obviously the Hadley postal center leaves the stickers on. Went there today to pick up my mail (in the daylight, which is rare) and I literally couldn't find tinkerbell... I think that anytime we can have a little fun and put a smile on someone's face, it's a beautiful day in The Villages.

Look what some creativity can do with some mailboxes? I do sometimes miss the on the street mailboxes so maybe some of us just like that little bit of individuality we can assert by putting stickers or whatever on our mailboxes.

Have you seen the Canada Post mailboxes in Quebec? Where would you put the sticker to make it stand out? https://www.google.com/search?q=queb...2F%3B393%3B500

I like seeing stickers on mailboxes.

Anyone have a favorite sticker they have seen at their mail center?

There seem to be a lot of Ohio State University ones in Lynnhaven. Some "Go, Army" too. Smiley faces. US Flags. Packers. No red nor blue dots. Thank GOD.
