I'm done with the whole NFL thing, I prefer to watch college football....

Thankfully there are DVR’s with a fast forward button so we can at least still watch some watered down football without all the garbage in between the snaps.

My -#1 granddaughter had a good take on it: People in generations past became famous because they could sing. Today, people who are famous, TRY to sing.

I think she's on to something there...

Precisely why I stopped watching the Super Bowl with the advent of "woke". Highlights are good enough.

The whole thing was disgusting and unrecognizable. How about something that doesn't hump anything and disgusting displays of playing with yourself.

Is it?

I think it is more a "values" thing. Art imitates life, after all.

After watching that excuse of entertainment, I’ve decided to become a singer. I’ll be performing soon so I can become famous and rich making sounds like chalk on a blackboard. Of course with my arthritis I won’t be able to gyrate.

Lots of dancers.
But maybe I could understand 5 or 6 words from all the songs belted out.
Anyone else have that issue??

I had some problems hearing the words of some R+R songs in about 1958, also some bee-bop songs. Then later I had trouble following Bob Dylan's songs. I hear the volume well, but the frequencies......not so well. So, each year music like Rap became more difficult for me to hear. The VA determined that I was eligible to get a hearing aid from them, but because I hear volume well, I am reluctant to go for a hearing aid........which people have said brings new problems with it.
........So, my conclusion is........that for seniors not hearing (or liking) the latest music......it is a combination of hearing loss and not being music of and for their particular generation. We all like things from our youth.

I do like some of Rihanna's music, but this was a letdown as she is a talented dancer as well and being pregnant limited her performance. Some of the risque acts should have been omitted. Overall not her best work

Wow what an entire bunch of haters.. so sorry it wasn't Lawrence Welk....
She's an amazing singer with a record of winning Grammy's. The stage was fantastic as was the production.
Sometimes I'm still amazed at the way people can be so mean.

Not sorry I missed another half time show. Never worth watching.

HORNET 02-14-2023 09:20 AM

Goodell said that if it wasn’t for this c##p there wouldn’t be a NFL

Sometimes, I think that the most popular artists(?) today would not be given a second notice if they did not have a video of them performing.

not to be that gross, but did you notice she smells the back of her hand after rubbing the crotch area? it pushes the borders of obscenity. just nasty. :ohdear:
