The reason why it’s unbearable has nothing to do with Covid. It’s the same former 5 or 6 East coast people who’ve lived here forever inflicting themselves on others. It proves that living in the so called friendliest doesn’t really work.

i'm with you! i love engaging conversation with those of differing opinions. i can get more info from a face to face conversation than from any so-called news report, and it's ok to disagree. it doesn't mean i don't like/respect you, in fact i admire those who can approach me & discuss things without fear of being shot down or being made fun of. this is how it used to be years ago, when we were ALL Americans as opposed to the new hyphenated citizen

I guess papa L has not gotten vaccinated and doesn’t intend to. All I can say is hopefully he will not get sick and pass on with a respirator in his throat.

I'm taking that statement to mean that we should consider ALL citizens to be Americans. It's my opinion, anyway.

It has never been that way, in the history of this continent, let alone this country.

People considered "other" have been persecuted, shot, enslaved, killed, victimized, accused, provoked, disrespected, disparaged, oppressed, repressed, degraded, humiliated, for as long as there have been "other" for people to do these things to.

There has been and always will be people who will feel threatened by "other" and do whatever it takes to put them down, in order to stay on top.
