There is much of what we have today that would not be here if it wasn't for that growth. And there is much more to come as TV continues to unfold.

The way TV is designed the population sorta regionalizes with amenities, facilities, utilities, shopping, etc evolving and growing with the population.

It is not as bad as the numbers and at times emotions make it sound. The life style has only improved with the growth.
Anyplace worth visiting or living will always have it's busy days.

I will take TV busiest days any day compared to the alternatives.

I was in that back up too. That is the type of traffic I was used to in South Florida. Then there was the time I drove at a snail's pace (10 to 20 mph) the entire length of the Belt Parkway on Long Island from the Verrazano Bridge to the Cross Island Parkway one time in the heavy rain. Only Long Islanders will appreciate that one!!!!

What I'm trying to say is the traffic here in The Villages is nothing compared to other areas I have lived.

Sounds like rush hour in Bridgeport on the way to New York City. Every. Single. Day.

On Wednesday I hit “traffic” going to Church for Ash Wednesday.

Will never compare to NY/NJ or even Tampa traffic.

After driving regularly in Manhattan for business, our worst traffic is a pleasure.

Not necessarily.

I noticed the heavier road traffic (due to a cold day when people most likely opted to drive their automobiles, instead of their golf carts)...while putting my gnomes and pink flamingos in the front yard.

I was in some areas of Orlando last week. That reminded me what heavy traffic really is. Traffic here is light in TV compared to Ocala or any other larger populated area.

This is my first winter here (snowflake renter) and I have been pleasantly surprised that the traffic is not any worse than it is, especially "inside the bubble". 441 is congested, but frankly, I seldom "need" to go there. I choose to at times. As others point out, there are plenty of places that are worse.
Having said that, it does seem to me that the cart and car traffic in TV has kicked up a notch since March 1. I notice it more due to the noise, when taking my exercise walk, than actually a bother while driving.
My time here is coming to a close.
It has been great.

Almost had 3 collisions in 3 different roundabouts the other day -- all caused by fools with out of state license plates. Very much looking forward to when such fools return North.

I had a lady coming at me in a roundabout going in the wrong direction! And she was on her phone! I don't think she even noticed. I slammed on the horn and she seemed oblivious. Luckily I was in the outside lane and she was in the inside lane or we would have had a head-on collision.
