So, we should be happy with bad service that we pay for because people are dying in China?

Note to people sending those Hallmark cards with gifts inside…DON’T! Postal workers may be great in TV, however, there is an epidemic of thievery among postal workers opening these cards and stealing gift cards and cash. Packages picked over too. Even checks are thrown away after the card is opened. During the holidays it is very bad!!! There was a study with parents sending cards to kids in College to help them out. I think it was found that only 50% of the kids were receiving them. Also found - the thieves were not opening those long envelopes that look like bills.
I worked with a guy up North (I’m a snowbird) who was a postal worker when all that rioting/smash and stealing was going on in our cities. Those people were stealing USPS, UPS, Fed Ex trucks and scouring them for stuff to sell on EBay and Craigs List. FYI… stealing still happening, just on a smaller scale. Also a note… Postal worker were throwing away mail-in voters ballets. YUP! You may already be aware of what I have written here and you may be very lucky that your stuff has not been picked over, but don’t be naive. Note: UPS and FedEx NOT merging.

I can not remember the last time the USPS failed to deliver a letter or package to me. I am, talking about over the past decades.

I can remember a couple times they were a day late, a couple times.

After moving here, to a NEW area, with NEW postal station and workers, I had two packages in almost 3 years delivered to a neighbor, and I received two that were for other neighbors. That is it.

On the other hand, I have had probably dozens of packages LOST by FedEx and UPS. in the same time frame.

I m sorry you have had a bad experience. Your experience is not mine. And the postal workers here and in Wildwood have been excellent in answering questions and helping me when I needed it.

I'm glad you lucked out.

I, on the other hand, have had numerous misdeliveries and missing items. In seven years of living here, I have had both excellent and terrible service. It's all about who gets assigned to your location.

Why do have to put up with suck horrible service from these gov employees. They won’t answer their phones. They mess up mail delivery almost daily. They place mail in the wrong postal box repeatedly. It starts from the top. This postmaster has to go. Move him/her/other to another station. We have to much invested in our homes to have such **** service time and time again.

The answer is to get rid of De Joy, the head of the USPS. He was hired, by the last loser/idiot in the white house, to dismantle the postal service.

LOLOL….. you must be new here. This has been going on for years now. Don’t bother complaining on here. Nobody cares unless it affects them directly. I still receive mail for someone who hasn’t lived here for 13 years!

Do we need to get Elon Musk in here now so the freedom of speech is NOT an issue?

Miboater 04-15-2022 10:31 AM

This is happening to me right now. Ordered from Amazon last Friday and was supposed to be delivered this past Monday. UPS delivered them to the Lady Lake post office early Monday morning for delivery. From there USPS sent the 2 packages to Tallahassee, then to Jacksonville, then to Orlando and finally back to Lady Lake where they have been sitting for 2 days. Amazon refunded my money today and if I ever receive them I get to keep them. Luckily it wasn't anything I needed in a timely manner.

Eight years and no problems. Our GIRL, Heather, at Charlotte even delivers larger (sometimes smaller) packages to our home.
Gets a generous tip at Christmas.
