Goody two shoe bunch???????

It's Goody TWO SHOES BUNCH.

Just find something better than this place, buddy.

You sound like my parents generation where praise would bruise their mouths.

Tomorrow for sure a villager could be missing. We leave here all the time for the village of Heavenly. Life is way too short to be so negative.

I am not one tiny bit jealous of The Morses or any Billionaire. We all live like the monied rich here.

Why sling crap at the folks who worked hard to give us this utopia?

I get it! Anyone who disagrees with you, or is relatively happy here...or heaven forbid, believes in a business entity actually turning a profit, rather than go belly-up...is one of the "Goody Two-shoes Bunch". Ouch!

How exactly does the valet system work at Spanish Springs? Do you pull up to the main entrance, hand over the keys and pick it up later? Does the person that takes your car park it off site and walk back? Exactly where are they parked?

It was my hunch that if the show starts at 8pm and ends at 10pm there would be a hundred or so cars wanting valet service arriving or leaving at the same time and the line would be very, very long. Since it worked out well opening night I guess I was wrong.

The only place I used valet service was a hotel but at a hotel people do not arrive and leave at the same time.

I think it's a great service.

Guess you just don't get it.

That is way too logical. [emoji6]

I wish everyone here would stop ganging up on those with different opinions. I did go to Sumter square last night and had no idea they were doing valet parking in front of the movie theater now. I thought it was SS only due to the Sharon. I have mixed feelings on this at Sumter now and not sure why its necessary

I seriously doubt that there is any significant profit from Valet Parking. Can't imagine that "the Developer" would have any interest in this "nickel/dime" business as a profit line?

Give me some math and take into accout all expenses , actual and implied risks. Profit??????

Wow! Great job of making mountains out of mole hills. 80% of your comments don't even relate to the simple comment I made, which if you didn't understand it, simply says that Valet Parking is taking parking spaces away from Villagers who use the downtown area and many times have a hard time finding parking spaces. So basically that means that now someone, guess who, is no profiting from a Valet Service that is disadvantaging many of the people you love so dearly. I'm not against Billionaires and you live in a dream world if you believe we all live like the monied rich. Tell me please, what do "the monied rich" live like. And please don't call me "buddy" cause I'm no buddy of yours. Sorry your parents never praised you but did you consider that they didn't think that your actions were worthy of praise. And please, when I try to add a bit of reality to your thinking, don't refer to it as negativity. And finally, I do not sling crap (your words, not mine) at anyone unless it is obvious and pointed, not imagined the way you see it.

Have you used the valet service? Have you walked the parking lots to see how many are disadvantaged? I assume you mean by finding it hard to park you mean on the square, otherwise I have never had a problem finding a place in the lots. Your posts usually do contain a lot of negativity, and a lot of projections that are biased against the management and I also wonder why. It seems what you consider reality is your reality and for some reason we are expected to buy into it which most of us don't. The valet service hasn't been in operation a month.....why not wait until we all have experience with it over time before we make judgement on who is and isn't disadvantaged. I used it on market night, when Mark Morse made his presentation and there were a number of US that used the service. Friendly, accommodating and professional. I was also told that LSL is being used more than SS so there is a clientele for the service. What I don't understand is why people that have so much negativity (your reality) even live here.

What community authority has granted permission to take away public parking for profit?

Those are not public parking spaces like you may see in a city where the lot is owned by the city. They are controlled by the central districts on land owned by the developer.

I think that some people may be upset because the valet parking is taking up spots close to the squares that they might have otherwise had a shot at.

I don't think that it's only for Sharon events. I see them out in front of the theater all the time and they are also in front of the theater at LSL.

If it's not popular and people don't use it, it will go away. If enough people use it then it shows that it is either needed or wanted.

Exactly where are the valets parking the cars. How many blocks away are they from the Sharon?
