Car and Driver, Motor Trend, Consumer Reports as well is US News Reports on line all have their ratings. Let us know what you get and why.

2020 Highlander Limited... Quiet and comfortable with all of the modern safety features. Two rows of seats vice three, so lots of room for backseat passengers. Good value at the time just below the premium brands.

Nissan Murano. On our 2nd one. Great ride, safety features roomy cargo area and reasonable gas mileage. Bought from Jenkins Nissan in Leesburg. Best dealership i have ever dealt with.

2019 Chevy Blazer. So far so good. Nice vehicle

RAV4. This is our 4th one and every one has had close to 200,000 miles on it when we sold it. Never had anything done (other than routine oil changes and the like) but brakes and tires as far as expenses are concerned. Getting 33 MPG highway with our 2021.

Everything
From all the replies here you can see that there are many choices that people like from small to large and that probably will be your deciding matter. As seniors most of us like smaller cuz there's somewhat easier to drive but again that's up to you. Right now I would not buy new has the markups are ridiculous and everything is in short supply. We bought the last three cars from carvana.com and the prices are up front with no games not only that you can trade it in and know your price but just entering your VIN number which may surprise you as being more valuable than you think. As far as our choice our last car was used being in a Buick encore small SUV we got a 2018 essence trim which has just about all the safety features Lane change back up in front morning beeps etc . Traveling and use cruise control common thing to look for is the automatic intelligence speed Cruise that slows and speeds up according to traffic, we do not have that but then we don't commute everyday like we used to, there are also two or three other major internet retailers you should look at, enjoy your purchase time and really test out two or three different models. I don't have to tell you to get your financing in place first which of course is much cheaper than it's been 5 or 10 years ago and also make sure you know what your car is worth from carvana and one or two others has that still where most of the dealer profit comes into play

It was such a bad decision that many companies put in switches on the dash to turn it on or off. My Buick has it but does not seem to really affect things much other than the air conditioning turning off also for one minute at red lights. I truly expect do you need a battery much sooner than later but that's the trade off isn't it silly

2017 Volvo XC90
We have had a few different SUVs over the last 10 years....and have found the Volvo XC90 to be superior in luxury, ride, room and performance. We are very happy with our Volvo.

I just got a 2021 Toyota RAV4 from deLuca Toyota in Ocala. It was about $3000 more than suggested retail, but they gave me $9000 more in trade than my car was worth one year ago. Love the new one.
