I’m on my 7th Toyota Rav Limited ..never had a problem with any of them.. dealerships have always been great, including Phillips in Leesburg.. I just trade every 3 years or 48,000 miles, whichever comes first.. just like new cars, plus do a lot of highway driving

I have a 2017 Tahoe and love it! Very spacious and comfortable. We drive straight through to and from Indiana, 17+ hours and stay comfortable. It gets 23-24 mph on the road and about 13-15 in town. It pulls my 26ft camper like a champ. I sometimes wish it was a Suburban, but not sure one of those would fit in the garage.

If you want to buy now you will be paying thousands more for any brand. I have been offered six thousand more for myChevrolet equinox 2020, than I paid in May this year.

I had friend that brought new yugo, it lasted 3 years. Any vehicle built today will last 3 years and 99% are still under warranty. Sounds like you didn’t trust them after warranty ran out?

Agree, brought few new fords and never had problem with them. Same with Honda, on the other hand the GM’s I brought new was always recalled or something wrong with them before 35K miles.

When I was in high school many years ago, GM was like the government to me, HUGH with good products .
Then they hired kids out of collage that didn't know the car/truck business, ran GM so far in the hole,
GM had to borrow money from the government, and drop the Pontiac and Oldsmobile line.

Personally, I wouldn't take a dump on any GM vehicle's

Buy TOYOTA, you'll never go wrong.

If you want smaller but still rugged I have a Subaru Crosstrek which is essentially a smaller Outback. A unique car it tucks in between a car and an SUV nicely. I have the limited that has a safety suite second to none. If you need bigger and want the typical SUV profile, my cousin has the Forrester which for 3 grand more gives you an amazing vehicle. The Outback the priciest is very nice as well. Love those Subaru vehicles. I hate to sound like an ad here but go check them out.

I am driving a 2020 Hyundai Santa Fe....my 5th Santa Fe!! I absolutely love the car and have never had a single problem with any one of them. I love all the new safety features on this one. Each year they advance a little more and of course the price also goes up. I will be looking at the Santa Fe again when it is time to replace this one in 2 more years.

We have a 2017 Ford Escape also and love it. Great mileage, fun to drive. I connect my iphone and can display either Apple and Google maps on the Sync screen vs paying extra for the built in navigation. .Only concern is that a bag of golf clubs does not fit width-wise in the back. Requires having to fold down at least part of the back seat.

I had a Hyundai tuscon for 6 years, never had a problem. Now I own a 2018 Toyota rav4. Great vehicle VERY dependable good on gas. I also bought a Toyota tacoma used 4 years old with 50,000 miles. I suffered no staggering depreciation I love it. In today's weird market it has appreciated. I will go with Toyota any time.
