If they had a parking lot there would be a constant line waiting to get on the course and it's not only Putting, it's lawn bowling, croquette, and catch/release fishing. Now that there are so many people living down here it is very well used without the parking lot by those who choose to use their golf cars, walk, or park at one of the pools.

Agree. It’s a long walk. Makes no sense. |

The parking should have been closer. North of 44 the parking is much more convenient.

It's not a mile, I stated it was a mile from my home not from the parking lots in the two nearby rec centers. It won't be long before you can bring your golf car down and enjoy the Putt and Play as well as the Chip and Putt.

I will be so glad when Fenney is connected and contiguous to the rest of us. Then the people who are critical will have to find some place new to be ugly about.
We went down to Fenney Grill for dinner a couple of weeks ago and hadn't been down Morse that far in a couple of months. We were astounded about how much earth had been moved during that short time. Those Morses have a plan and know how to follow it. |
What's not a hidden secret and very much like the rest of TV, we still have the "special" people come down and make their own parking for the "Putt and Play" (not Putt Putt). For a while it was no harm done as most of the homes built across from the P&P were not yet occupied. Now many are but it doesn't stop some from parking up and down in front of those homes. I actually once saw a car (BMW convertible with the top down) parked on the side of Fenney Way in the golf cart lane directly across from the Putt and Play. The other day, I watched someone try to turn into the entrance in their car only to realize at the last minute that it is carts only. The Sugar Cane pool is not that far away and is where you are supposed to park if you want to go to Putt and Play. It's not that far of a walk and I've never seen that parking lot even near full. It seems to me that if you have the strength and energy to play the course, you can muster up enough to walk from the pool and back.
