Hopefully you will never make the mistake Plaxico Burress did and shoot yourself in the thigh. :yuck:

If you are carrying Mexican style, that is very dangerous. Accidental discharge can result in severing the femoral artery. You will bleed out very quickly. Buy a Mexican trigger holster for about $20.

How about THIS? Leave them at home. You don't need to carry them around here ....

YET.

They use a pocket holster with a small slim line automatic. The pocket holster breaks up the contour and allows for a quick draw while the holster remains in the pocket. I used a .380 with personal defense rounds for carry.

I don't think that many women carry a gun in a purse..............but a whole lot of woman keep one in the car!

There are a whole line of fashion purses with built in holsters. Someone's buying them.

Plaxico Burris carried a Glock--my Smith & Wesson is a wheel gun-infinitly safer than a Glock & it is in a pocket sleeve-the only way a wheel gun goes bang is when you pull the trigger-thats why they don't need safety's

There is a new club in The Villages called "Mums with guns"

I don't know anyone that carries on a consistent basis.

As safe as the Villages is I personally would not carry a weapon. That being said my wife was attacked years ago and she wishes she had not given her weapon away prior to the attack. This was in a large city not the Villages. I would rearm now if I were doing much travelling around the state.

I think for the most part the statement provided is factual.

As far as to whether it is "most" or not, I would doubt that.

The thread is really sort of off track as you have decided to discuss armed women who happen to be drunk. The quoted content has nothing to do with that hypothesis and tends to prejudice the subject.

Responsible, certified gun carriers are keenly aware of the rules involving liquor and guns in the same space of life.

The trouble with a gun in a purses--if you lose control of the purse-you lose control of the gun

I'm glad my wife doesn't have a concealed weapon permit. The way she packs, the purse would have wheels.

Although I live in a very sheltered world, I know of one person that has a CWP and is packing. This is also a question I don't normally ask when meeting folks on the golf course! I find it hard to believe we have a bunch of "pistol toten grannies" in TV.

Me too. But just in case I'm wrong I would like to take this opportunity to change my position on slow play.

Very easy to conceal a gun. Like a 5 shot .22 Mag Mini by American Arms. Just a hunch you understand.
