Also, I don't think parking an RV in a "nearby" RV lot, driving your car to a square and trying to park, renting a cart which has to left overnight for each day you're here, then driving back to the RV park is the best way to get an idea of TV lifestyle, You'll be highly skewed towards driving/parking/convenience issues that are only a fraction of life in TV, while paying less attention to the array of amenities, the people, and even the engineering that went into the place.

Glad to see you weren't a troll. No matter how you visit, you'll be amazed. I think a lot of us would recommend a longer stay/lifestyle visit to really get the feel of the place. It is so large with different areas that it's hard to evaluate in a short time. (Says the guy who bought on day 4 of a visit :1rotfl::1rotfl::1rotfl:)

Thanks to all of you for your comments and suggestions. I think I will leave the RV at home and do a Lifestyle visit.

Here's the interesting thing about TOTV. When one actually bothers to read the thread, they are less likely to post nonsense that has already been addressed.

Same folks that probably signed off without reading their deed restrictions as well

You really need to rent a place for a month, rent a golf cart as well and travel around all the Villages, talk to everyone you see out and about to get a feel of the place and decide where in the Villages is right for you. We did this 23 years ago, bought a lot on a championship golf course and designed our home over a 2 month period. Still loving our area and our home. Don't rush into it or you'll end up like some continually moving from house to house to try to find their nirvana and wasting a lot of money each move.

Just ask your realtor. It will be up him.

Funny OP post. Lol like what??

It is possible to find a house with an RV garage in TV. Heard there's some up north and heard south of 44 Developers allow the use of creative language for new homeowners to have them built prior to land transfering to T V ARC.

Can't leave them on the street for more that 72 hrs but if you have the "k-ching" put it in your house.

We love our toys in T V :)

Why should the agent, when he/she has no idea if you are going to buy or not. 😎

Sorry, but that makes no sense whatsoever.
Why would an agent/TV provide a golf cart on a lifestyle visit when they have idea if that person is going to buy or not
Why would an agent waste time showing people around TV when he has no idea if they will buy
Why buy them a meal?
Why get a free round of golf?

It's all part of the job and the probabilities of a sale. The motto of salespeople is SWSWSWN---Some will, some won't, so what, next.

Be sure to ask your agent to show you the Hacienda Country Club and Katie Belles before you make a buying decision.

Interesting post since Katie Belle's was gone before that TOTV join date.
And why???? Cheapskate Villagers ordering 1 ice tea and sitting there all night.

Meanwhile, I played Hacienda Hills 3 days ago and the course was in great condition. So now they are constructing a new pro shop. The money losing restaurant is gone, the pool is gone but there is a new neighborhood pool adjacent.

In summary, one pool out of 100+ is gone, but replaced.
One restaurant out of hundreds is gone
And one residents dinner/nightclub is gone, because of the residents.

Problem?????

Thats not a lifestyle visit. How about you just rent your own cart for the day.

The new Hacienda CC facility will be very impressive, have you been there recently?
