I know that this is not what you mean but I can't resist.
What does TV need.......... ME LIVING THERE. I hope you all know how lucky and blessed you are. EB |
....IMHO....We NEED to care about each other...be thankful for "what we have".... no matter what we have .......Help those "less fortunate" around us.......AND..... always remember the coffee INSIDE the cup is what is important...It does NOT matter how pretty or how expensive the cup may be ......or even if the cup is worn and not so pretty.....What is INSIDE the cup is what really matters.....that is how I think of our families and friends.

Whenever I shop at the Christmas tree shop here in Freehold and they ask for a zip code, I always give my Villages zip. Supposedly they keep track of the zip codes to see where a new store might be needed. So if you go to a store that you'd like to see in TV and they ask for a zip, give them your TV zip.

2. We have found and had pizza delivered from Snappy Tomato, Dominos and Papa Johns. None were bad but I'd say that my favorite was Snappy Tomato. Will any of them satisfy you? I don't know, but I do know that most of us feel that our hometown outside TV has the best pizza available. So if you can't have your favorite restaurant back where you came from ship pizza to you prepared for cooking, then try the three mentioned. Now if we could only get good Chinese delivery! 3. Costco sounds good! 4. Have not yet had Chick Fill A. |

A Residents' Hometown Directory
I'm willing to bet this has probably been brought up before....... I just can't seem to find the question/suggestion/answer on the Forum via a Search.
The Villages phone book is very informative, for sure. I especially like the "Hometown" information under each individual listing. Although this is handy, I'm wondering if there does exist a directory or public accessible database that is sorted (prioritized) by the Hometown so that I can look up a city and see all the residents of The Villages who are from there. The way it is now, I'll have to scan individually all 528 pages, with an average of 75 listings per page. Just a thought...... BTW - For example, I'd be interested in finding anyone from Cape May, NJ; Kettering, OH; or Woodstock, VT. |
