They do, but when one of them blows through the gate, breaking it, the camera doesn't get a picture of the serial number. I think what's meant here is a visual i.d. system similar to a license plate.

Please do. I second and third that idea. I get real tier of rolling the window up and down.

You'll even like it less when you have to replace the regulator in that power window at the tune of $400 on average according to one of the auto dealers. They say they replace quite a few for customers from gated communitiesl.

Why are you rolling your window down? My gate pass works through the window.

They don't all work through the window. Ours doesn't, from either car, at the St. James gate.

Mine doesn't work through the window at either of the Hadley gates - wonder if it has something to do with tinting? Either way a sticker on the window or where ever would be great.

I agree. Much easier than keeping track of what vehicle I have the pass in.

I have to roll

I also have to roll down my window. I have an SUV and it sits too high to catch the signal from my card with the window up. Friends of ours have a car and they can keep the window up and it works for them.

I actually prefer the gates be shortened enough so a cart could go around it without requiring it be opened . A car would still have to use card to go thru gate.

.... Picture wouldn't post

How about a sticker for residents...that the camera would pick up going thru gates..may narrow down the getaway car with stolen items

I would like to see the Pelican course improved so it is more playable. It would be a beautiful course, but the tall grasses make a very short window of opportunity to get on the green unless you are a very good player. It seems they could cut into some of that without endangering any species. (I admit I am not a great golfer, but it is the most unenjoyable course in the Villages.)

This is why the courses are rated 1-4, with Pelican being a four. A lot of golfers enjoy the challenge on the 4 rated courses. It's not supposed to be easy.
