Being a Florida boy, I know little about snow. When it melts, where does the white go??

We can't believe the number of responses...thank you. Concensus is you can buy a dvd of snow falling. We posed this as a general question without writing a novel but maybe we should have put more into it. We live in a secondary snow belt and grew up celebrating the holidays in this weather. Unfortunately we have no children and all family is now gone. We also built a home in the villages so technically we are snowbirds. So we snowbirds thought it might be best to spend Christmas up North for a while and come down in January. I guess it all depends on your situation.

Secondary snow belt--Sounds like you may be in the Columbus area. We lived there for four years, and missed the snow. They would get tons of it in Mansfield, but very little in Columbus. So maybe a change of venue to down here with blue skies and sunshine would make up for lack of a white Christmas.

In any event, Merry Christmas to you!

Actually live in a secondary snow belt that gets Lake Erie's lake effect in Northern Summit County.

Ok, we give up. We are sitting at the kitchen table watching the Lake Erie lake effect snow machine crank up a little with wind chills hovering in the single digits. I have to go out later and dread brushing the snow off the car. The decision has been made, next year we will be sitting on the lanai watching the golf balls bounce.

One thing we can forget next year is the snow brushes!
