So is this a golf cart crossing and the carts must yield

OR

Is this a pedestrian crossing and cars must yield??

or or...............does it depend if the golfer is walking vs. riding.

:gc:

Don’t remember seeing a crosswalk, I’m not taking any chances crossing, people drive like there’s no tomorrow.

I believe the signs say Golf Cart Crossing so they are not crosswalks.

If it says Golf Cart Crossing, can pedestrians use it? If not, where do they cross?

It's part of the cart paths on the golf course. Of course walkers playing the course can use it. No reason for pedestrians to cross the street there because there's no sidewalk on the North side of the street, just the golf course, in which non golfers are not allowed..

If you play golf at Palmetto but do not like "taking any chances crossing" over Pinellas, I guess that means you play the first hole and go home.

So it gets down to: Who gets there first?? Good Luck with that.

Not sure Morgan & Morgan could get you $1mil .

The cart should not have entered the crosswalk with a car within 10 feet of it.

Whatever gave you that idea???? It all depends on the situation.

Good News..............you can play one & nine before going home. :)

not a realistic distance, obviously this involves the same effort as driving - how to time what's coming. if you pull out with a 25 mph car 10 feet away..... morgan & morgan will send you a funeral card that's about all. LOL

Some Bozo pushed his cart out into the crosswalk and I was less than 20 feet away, traveling at 25mph.

Ya can't fix stupid - or arrogant!

I always wait until traffic clears.

It's more like, motorized vehicles are bigger than pedestrians, physics rule!

Cars always have the right of way, NOT golf carts!

As a 40+ yrs retired doc , working in trauma hospitals It’s simple, in physical match, car vs pedestrian or golf cart. Car always win.
You can’t sue for $1M if you are dead.
