They should not be allowed in communities such as this that have very little space between homes. Before buying we rented homes here and pulled in the first afternoon to find out the neighbor had a pool next to the master with wind chimes everywhere. I told my wife I would not be using the master. That night the tornado came through 2/2/2007, problem solved.

Your private property. Do with it as you like. However be aware that works both ways.

Funny nobody thinks to ask it’s ok that I leave my dogs that bark at the wind, in the yard for 4-8 hours a day. Or better yet in their garage with the door open a foot, barking for attention to get them out of the cages.
I take 24/7 wind chimes any day over abusing a pet left outside for hours at a time. |

Wind chimes

I had several wind chimes at my home in Virginia, but then my closest neighbor was a quarter mile away. I decided not to hang them when I came to the villages because just because I love them does not mean my neighbors will. Let us know in a year if you decided to hang them, how things turned out. |
