Repetitive sounds of any kind are annoying after a time. Was in a rental next to Pickleball court, pop pop pop pop pob all day long. Not a good thing.

They should not be allowed in communities such as this that have very little space between homes. Before buying we rented homes here and pulled in the first afternoon to find out the neighbor had a pool next to the master with wind chimes everywhere. I told my wife I would not be using the master. That night the tornado came through 2/2/2007, problem solved.

They don't make noise 24/7, like wind chimes. To me, wind chimes are much worse.

YES, if you like them that much. Remember this, if you have them outside 24x7 how often are you outside 24x7 to enjoy them other than your neighbors.

There is the ideal solution. If you like to look at and listen to wind chimes, hang them INSIDE your house and you can see and hear them 24/7. Don't force your neighbors to listen to noise pollution that you created. If you like hearing them, your dining room is an ideal place for them. Thanks for your consideration.

Loud cars move along, wind chimes don't.

Funny nobody thinks to ask it’s ok that I leave my dogs that bark at the wind, in the yard for 4-8 hours a day. Or better yet in their garage with the door open a foot, barking for attention to get them out of the cages.

I take 24/7 wind chimes any day over abusing a pet left outside for hours at a time.

Seems like with wind chimes a conversation with the neighbor is due and if they don’t like it then call the man. No way anyone is leaving anything like an animal in the garage in this summer heat let alone the yard. A 100 degree garage would warrant a call to the warden. Sounds like the owner is having mental issues?

If you don’t like your neighbors, hang them up!

I had several wind chimes at my home in Virginia, but then my closest neighbor was a quarter mile away. I decided not to hang them when I came to the villages because just because I love them does not mean my neighbors will.

Let us know in a year if you decided to hang them, how things turned out.
