Salybow - based on your sage advice and proven track record with your friend in Ohio, I dug up St. Joseph this morning from the back of the house and buried him in the front yard facing the house. There was a lot of praying going on both during and after this ceremony.

By the way, if you can get me a buyer by next weekend, I'll buy you a round trip ticket to Louiville!!!

Help. . .our St. Joseph has been buried in the front yard facing the street since last July and we have not sold our house yet. Many prayers have been said. What are we doing wrong?? We already have a house on Foggy Brook Loop ready for us to move in to. Actually we are moving regardless if our IL house sells or not, but boy it sure would be nice if it would sell. I hate having to worry about it and keep paying for upkeep. Come on everyone say a little prayer for us. We officially retire on June 2nd and would LOVE to have a contract by then!

Try Google and use "burying St. Joseph to sell home" and you can read a few of the over 2 million hits to see if you have done anything wrong. It may be the direction you have it facing. Does it need to be facing the house or the direction you want to move to?

Hello All... Jim & Mimi from SC ... we also did the lifestyle stay back in Jul 09... put our home on the market in Sep 09 and are still waiting for sale. The market around here has been awfully slow to completely stopped. We're hoping with the Summer coming maybe things will improve. That's what our agent tells us anyway!!!
