I think his discussion would have been more beneficial if he had shared with his son how he needs to fear another black man killing him. Those are the statistics, those are the facts, but for some reason he doesn't seem to know that.

The FBI completed their investigation and determined there were no grounds to bring a racial/hate charge against George Zimmerman; however Eric Holder is pandering to the NAACP and telling them they are investigating. Why doesn't he have the balls to tell them the truth - no racism - case closed.

Love it!!!

George was one of “very few” in Sanford who publicly condemned the “beating of the black homeless man Sherman Ware on Dec. 4, 2010, by the son of a Sanford police officer,” who is white.

Flashback: FBI Concludes Investigation, Finds No Evidence Of Racism, Hate Crime, Civil Rights Violation By Zimmerman « Pat Dollard

"The newswire McClatchy reports:

After interviewing nearly three dozen people in the George Zimmerman murder case, the FBI found no evidence that racial bias was a motivating factor in the shooting of Trayvon Martin, records released Thursday show.

Even the lead detective in the case, Sanford Det. Chris Serino, told agents that he thought Zimmerman profiled Trayvon because of his attire and the circumstances — but not his race.

Serino saw Zimmerman as “having little hero complex, but not as a racist.”

The Duval County State Attorney released another collection of evidence in the Zimmerman murder case Thursday, including reports from FBI agents who investigated whether any racial bias was involved in Trayvon’s Feb. 26 killing. [...]

Federal agents interviewed Zimmerman’s neighbors and co-workers, but none said Zimmerman had expressed racial animus at any time prior to the Feb. 26 shooting of Martin, a black teen, in a confrontation at a Sanford housing complex. As Sanford police investigated the circumstances of Martin’s death, the FBI opened a parallel probe to determine if Martin’s civil rights had been violated.

Several co-workers said they had never seen Zimmerman display any prejudice or racial bias."

Obama & Holder Blocked by FBI? Investigation Shows Zimmerman Not Racist | Independent Journal Review

"Current and former Justice Department officials said Monday that bringing civil rights charges against George Zimmerman in the shooting death of Trayvon Martin, an unarmed black 17-year-old in Florida, would be extremely difficult and may not be possible.

Attorney General Eric H. Holder Jr. vowed to continue a federal investigation of the matter, but other officials said in interviews that the government may not be able to charge Zimmerman with a federal hate crime because it’s not clear that he killed Martin because of his race."

Civil rights charges against Zimmerman would be difficult, Justice officials say - The Washington Post

Now I realize that in your world, and sadly in the world of many of our leaders in Washington, this makes no difference and the pressure to "get him" will be so strong that anything is possible, but it was NOT put on suspense until this trial was over as you say and it will take pressure from 'high up" to make it happen and that is possible !

History shows Eric Holder has no problem with lies!

billethkid 07-16-2013 11:03 PM

History also verifies, that Holder never has much to say publicly about anything of major national significance.
But has he become highly visible and outspoken pumping race cards.

All for one purpose.....political posturing.

He had to wait for the verdict to talk to his son....1rotf

Prior to the verdict the killing of each other within his own race was not remarkable?.......1rotf

An insult to thinking people almost anywhere.

What a WASTE of taxpayer money!!!

Could someone please set me straight. Is that the same Eric Holder that interned with the NAACP from law school?
Are we also talking about the same GZ that took an African-American girl to his high school prom?
Or the same GZ who mentored troubled A-A children and even took them into his home?
Or the same GZ who defended a homeless A-A man from the police?
Or the same GZ who saw a strange person that fit the description of those burglarizing his neighborhood on several recent occasions?
If so, I guess he was honing his racist skills very cleverly.

Now you have gone and done it. Confusing the media educated, politically brainwashed, special interest driven.

Which they will ignore just like the jury decision. It just doesn't fit the agenda.

The only good thing about Holder's pontificating since the verdict is his track record........say what a particular audience wants to hear, make up a folksy personal story to go with it....then....do nothing. Has a familiar ring to it....eh?

Over 30 states have some form of "stand your ground" laws. And now the political powers want to change those laws based on nothing from this case to provide more rights and opportunities to the criminals. We are failing as a nation. Those laws were passed to protect victims from criminals. Now they want to eliminate them to protect criminals from victims.

I have never ever even considered joining NRA. Today I joined. To support stand your ground laws, to support the "right to bear arms" and to add one more vote against the political and race division those in power are driving. This nation has become so divided. My next step will be to obtain a concealed carry permit. My goal is to do as much as possible to go the opposite direction the Eric Holders of the world want.

What is bothersome to me is that all these posts are related to one side of the story here. People like hannity, Limbaugh, coulter have political agendas also and push them on a daily basis.

You could have done that without joining the NRA whom could care less about your rights and more about the bottom line of the weapon manufacturers.

But that doesn't mean all people listen to them or read them. There are degrees of conservatism and liberalism, we are thinking people and old enough to have accrued some knowledge from life.
