All my life I assumed the word RESTARTING meant something had already been started and then stopped. So you can imagine my problem when the news topic on CBS news was DOJ restarting Zimmerman Case?

Would this have been an issue if both were black or both were hispanic or both been blue or both been green or white. I dont think so . The jury ruled that is how our court system works let it go . Holder will use this for gun removal and to take over making laws for the states even more than they are now. The whole thing is very unfortunate and maybe it didnt have to happen I dont know let it go folks the more you talk about it the more it goes on.

give it a rest guys! holder set aside the investigation started last spring once the state prosecution began...he is picking up where that left off - with only the report from the fbi investigation that concluded gz was not a racist.

Thought the investigation was to determine if Zimmerman racially profiled Trayvon. If the FBI concluded Zimmerman is not a racist what is there left to investigate??? Holder is simply giving lip service to pacify some folks.
The sooner he admits the jury has spoken and this was not a race case the sooner people will calm down. He is feeding the fire.

At the end of the trial, I heard that GZ never stated that he was part of the Neighborhood Watch program. Why not? Wouldn't that have defused a certain amount of the confrontation?

Also, if he was part of the N.W. program, then why was he gun concealed? Again, wouldn't that have made a difference in the outcome?

According to what I have read, GZ was part of the NW program but was not on duty that night. He was on his way to the store when he saw TM.

It was not necessary that Z was on Neighborhood Watch duty that night. He had every right to go to Trayvon and tell him he was part of Neighborhood Watch and to ask where he was going.

However, Z never said that and the testosterone from two guys took over.

i don't think there is a clear reason for holder's investigation. i believe he is giving lip service as you do - BUT - i also think he will take any info he can get and hope that something will turn up that allows him to go forward with something - lame or not!

Holder could claim he had something on gz and go after him! With Holder's track record it could very well be a lie!
