Justin Bieber is a pathetic excuse for a human being. My suggestion ... he should enlist in the USMC for a few years and do his best to become a real person.

The unfortunate thing is that he is a child who has been explointed at a very young age by his mother, promoters and agents. If you want to condemn somone condemn them. The same goes for Lindsey Lohan who has worked in the industry since she was a very young child and used by her drug addicted parents as a moneymaker. It's no wonder these kids go off the rails. God help them.

It is a sad reflection on America when we are passing trillions of dollars of dept to our children and grand-children yet collectively as a society we are making multi millionaires out of snotting nose kids like this one or stars like A-Rod.

Justin Bieber and some of the so called celebrities today are only FAWNED over by the same types that they are. You could put Justin's talent in a thimble and still have room for your thumb. All he can do is look over the top of his sunglasses. He wouldn't last 3 days in any branch of the military, and those of us who WERE IN know to what I refer.
So my rant is over, Justin will do as Justin does, we just have to choose to be taken by it or not. Hoorah!

When we were growing up scandals ruined careers (Lana Turner, Lenny Bruce, Errol Flynn, Tony Curtis) now it seems to be a path to fame and just another publicity opportunity.

As a society we spend far too much money on Entertainment. Stop supporting movie actors and professional athletes. And yes, that means stop watching the movies and series on TV, and stop watching sports, professional and collegiate.
That means, Baseball, Football, Basketball, Hockey, Soccer, Golf, and yes even NASCAR.

Instead of buying season tickets or even one ticket to a game. Donate the money to your local school.

I have something in common with JB; I'm also a foreigner and a guest in your country (and The Villages).
I, on the other hand, have a deep respect for the laws of the land and hope to remain a welcome guest by abiding well within the legislated parameters.
This piece of crap has made millions as a guest in your country but openly flouts your drug laws and your alcohol consumption/possession laws. It's time to take out the trash and deport his sorry "arse" back North!

I have no idea about Shirley Temple since she was WAY before my time.

However, I do not blame the artist for becoming richer than you or I could ever hope to become. If they did not have the fans, they would not be celebrity artists. If the fans (little girls and boys - pre-teen and young teens) did not buy the CDs and music, there would not be money for the artists. If the parents did not give money to the kids, well, that is the situation...
