I think it was very racially motivated based on what I gleaned from the trial by both of them. If they were both of the same race, it would have had a different outcome. In my opinion, you are mistaken if you think race did not play into the ending by BOTH parties. I see your point that it may have been the wrong time to tell the truth, but the outcome was in fact steeped in race.

How come they're not listening and calmly reflecting??? Instead they're smashing police cars, throwing trash cans through store front windows, and calling for mass marches that we all know will only lead to violence???

If by facilitate you mean peacekeepers, you are correct. Were you at the rallies last year? I can tell you from personal experience, the DOJ personnel were there, in uniforms, making sure things did not get out of hand.

Actually the biggest problems so far are in California (go figure) so I'm not sure what Governor Scott would have to do with that. Wonder what Jerry Brown is up to though.
