I almost ran him over back in the 1970’s at LAX. I was carrying two very heavy bags one way on the jetway. He was coming the other way. We saw each other just in time where it turned. No collision, but close!

He is truly a friendly unassuming guy. He says hello to people he encounters while walking around town.

He was a U S Marine 1947-1951. My favorite movie of his is “The French Connection”.
