Buzz Aldrin - Astronaut - Biography.com

My Information Access Company boss loved space exploration. This was Robert Lee. Can remember him crying at his desk over the Challenger going down and then we had to index various newspaper articles for stories about that tragedy for their product the National Newspaper Index. Challenger Disaster Live on CNN - YouTube

https://www.nypl.org/collections/art...x-1977-present

And later articles in the Magazine Index.

History of Information Access Company – FundingUniverse

For a very current event like the Challenger disaster they would have to meet up and come up with terms to use to index all the magazine and newspaper articles on that topic hoping that also got the terms the Library of Congress would eventually assign for books on that event.

My fellow U of MN Law School grad-- another boss but higher up the command chain of IAC-- would have been involved in getting the right terms to use.

You would have found Information Access Company's products in almost every public library of any good size in the United States. As well as libraries in colleges and universities.

I never thought of Robert Lee in the library sense. Very thought provoking.

What a short life with so much tragedy.

"Bixby's first marriage was to actress*Brenda Benet.[23]*They were married in 1971 and she gave birth to their son Christopher in 1974. In 1981, Christopher died suddenly of a rare throat infection. Bixby and Benet divorced shortly afterwards, and Benet committed suicide the following year.[24]*In 1989, he met Laura Michaels, who had worked on the set of one of his*Hulk*movies. The couple married a year later in Hawaii. In early 1991, Bixby was diagnosed with*prostate cancer*and underwent treatment.[25]*He was divorced in the same year. In late 1992, friends introduced him to the artist Judith Kliban, widow of*B. Kliban, a cartoonist who had died of a pulmonary embolism. Bixby married Judith in late 1993, just six weeks before he collapsed on the set of*Blossom."

Yes, he was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease. Sad. He is a wonderful singer and entertainer.
