I don't think it's better to get the disease, even though I contracted Covid (from a patient), some 20 months ago... When the vaccine came out (almost a year later), after consulting with my physician, I went ahead and had the two shots (Moderna).
But I do think my natural antibodies will last longer and be more effective than the vaccine (per the Israeli studies)...
I was luck. I had an EXTREMELY mild case (only 36 hrs of a low grade (99.5°) fever, mild body aches, chills and a slight cough). I was tired for a few days afterwards.
Even with that, I would never suggest that it's better to roll the dice and get Covid, rather than get the vaccine...
Will I get a booster? I dunno'... I'll see what the literature shows when and if Moderna is approved for a booster shot...
