Come down to the Marsh Bend area and you will see entitlement. So many 30 and 40-somethings that have their nose in the air and do not have the common decency to greet you when you say Good Morning or Hello. Morse Family, keep selling to 30 and 40-somethings to keep your sales numbers high.

Give them the benefit of the doubt. They probably can't hear you over the turnpike noise.

Everyone living in this great country legally is entitled to but three things, Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness. Note that PURSUIT word. Beyond that, in the wise words of the late, great Charlie Daniels, "I ain't asking nobody for nothin if I cain't get it all on my own." Side note. The hair isn't long anymore.

Many people here are in there late 50’s and 60’s they are very athletic and to older people might seem younger I’ve lived in 5 homes in the villages and I think the people out here are very friendly . If you saw me walking while driving by in a car you would think I was much younger also . I keep up my appearance and my gym routine and love the younger vibe of this area

We were entitled to work three jobs between us so our kids can grow up in a house and not a small apartment. We were entitled to not really seeing much of each other because I worked the day shift and my husband did the night and weekend shift. I didn’t “entitle” myself to manicures, pedicures and someone else dying my hair. That would have taken money away from our household. We did entitle ourselves to working hard, raising decent children with morals, loving and believing in our faith, helping anyone whenever it was possible. Bottom line, we worked our a$$s off to be “entitled”. Now, from what I hear, we are asked to give up our houses that we are not “entitled” to have. Crazy world for sure.

That was a good life-story. And I expected this thread to be boring and trivial. Way to put pizzaz in it!

Quite possibly they are the "last of their breed" - the last generation collectively as a whole to achieve better than their parents. May upward mobility live in peace - the 3rd world cometh.

You are entitled to try watching a good martial arts movie with Donnie Yen titled, "Kung Fu Killer". It IS killer. Do NOT bother to watch Kung Fu Killer II which does not have Donnie Yen.

Interesting info. Maybe they all are from big cities. Not midwest friendly? Or maybe the CV has psychologically social distanced us. Or maybe social media? I REALLY don't know that answer. Different attitudes and different strokes for different folks?
