Come down to the Marsh Bend area and you will see entitlement. So many 30 and 40-somethings that have their nose in the air and do not have the common decency to greet you when you say Good Morning or Hello. Morse Family, keep selling to 30 and 40-somethings to keep your sales numbers high.[/QUOte
Many people here are in there late 50’s and 60’s they are very athletic and to older people might seem younger I’ve lived in 5 homes in the villages and I think the people out here are very friendly . If you saw me walking while driving by in a car you would think I was much younger also . I keep up my appearance and my gym routine and love the younger vibe of this area

That sheds some light on the situation. I personally am "old as dirt" and that dude dirt is pretty old. Anyone remember him from some oil or premium gas commercial? Anyone? anyone? - another old reference. Anyway, to the point, which I am ENTITLED to eventually get to - I am old and to my weary eyes, everyone over about age 50 looks the same. I used to be able to look at someone and know their age within + or - 5 years. Now I either can't or don't bother to make those distinctions. And, also, everyone from 19 to 35 looks the same to me.

I always say hello to people but, outside of The Villages, it usually scares them as they are not used to it

Thanks for your post! There is so much “ entitlement” on the golf courses, it is maddening. Please use your sand bottle. It is not a decoration!

If we want to maintain its over-used status, we have to keep using it, people!

"entitled" has been replaced with overused "racist" and "offended".

it's not as bad as you think! i haven't lost faith in the next generation. after listening to them, & hearing ALL kinds of views, these kids aren't as dumb as one might assume. what they DID learn, was to keep their mouths shut during public discussions, & not voice their TRUE feelings until alone with friends. when my daughters' friends come to visit, i give them privacy (& they don't know i'm listening, lol) & i overhear them talk about politics/today's society, etc., & these kids aren't stupid. they can see right through the nonsense & i breathe a sigh of relief
