:agree: I originally thought he might be getting a bad rap, and that may have been true.
But his flirtatation with "fame" has gone to his head. He is arrogant and craves the limelight.

Furthermore, George had nothing to do with the "Stand your ground" law.

My theory was and is that Zimmerman set Martin up -- he deliberately followed him and intimidated, hoping the kid would do exactly what he did: confront him. That gave him the right to shoot. Sickening but legal.

So far, Zimmerman has behaved exactly as I would expect any AA (arrogant a*****e) to behave. He's a mean-spirited, ill-tempered bully. More than likely, he's going to end up either in prison or dead unless he somehow turns his attitude and life around very, very soon.

George Zimmerman will be released from jail on $9000 bail, has been ordered to wear a monitoring device, cannot leave the state, must stay away from this girl friend, and must relinquish all of his guns. His next court appearance is set for Jan 7, 2014.

Zimmerman is being represented by the public defenders office, no sign of Atty Mark O'Mara at the press conference. The state of Florida now gets to pay to prosecute and to defend Zimmerman.

I wonder what will happen to Zimmy the next time he is caught harassing someone - with a gun? You know someone with his personality type will not turn in all of his guns as ordered. Just a matter of time before the next time.

His behaviors collectively show, it appears to me, that he's an Equal Opportunity antagonizer, and not purely a "racist" one.

When people start to over-use "racist" and throw it as their quickest and most overpowering trump card, it can become like the little boy who cried "wolf".....no longer meaningful to those who really are victimized by racism.

Zimmerman is a ticking time bomb! Any political group backing him would be beyond "extreme". His future is not very bright. I believe he even might like all the news attention and may be looking forward to yet another TV trial.

Saw this reported but have not verified, that according to Florida law Zimmerman's concealed carry license should be suspended. Also, NBC News is reporting that it was stated in the hearing that Zimmerman is 2.5 million dollars in debt and therefore indigent.

Who paid the bail?

You could be right about the guns. Remember, he hid his new passport and money last time.

George Zimmerman's day got a little worse for him today when his wife, Shellie, was able to serve him with divorce papers while he was being held in jail. It seems Zimmerman couldn't be found to receive these papers before today.

We'll see what kind of a tough guy Zimmerman is with no guns and no ammunition. The charges he faces carry a mandated three year minimum sentence in Florida. Happy Holidays.
