You helped me
You, in posting your pending and then actual loss, have helped more people than you know. God Bless you and yours, and may Q have sweet sailing.

So sorry for the loss of your dear grandson Quentin...I will keep you and Lila and family in my prayers.
|
If only I could send to you something that would help, if only any of us could say or do anything to help you right now.
Just know that we all understand and care. |

Ed... What a heartbreaking story. My thoughts are with you, Quentin, and the rest of his family. There is some solace in knowing that he will live on for many years through the life he has given to others in need. He sounds like a wonderful young man.

I'm very sorry for your loss. It's terrible. We nearly lost our son twice during the summer of 2007...we aren't made to watch these things happen to our kids or grandkids. Be strong.

Ed, there are no words that I can offer that haven't already been made that could sufficiently help relief the pain you must be experiencing at this time. I do however offer you this poem in hopes that it provides a small flicker of light to the darkness of the moment.
DO NOT STAND AT MY GRAVE AND WEEP Do not stand at my grave and weep I am not there I do not sleep I am a thousand winds that blow I am the diamond glints on the snow I am the sunlight on ripened grain I am the gental autumn rain When you wake in the mornings hush I am the swift uplifting rush of quiet birds in circled flight I am the soft stars that shine at night Do not stand at my grave and cry I am not there, I did not die ~ Author Unknown ~ |
Ed, I'm so sorry. Sometimes life can seem so unfair. You and your family are in our thoughts and prayers.
