The problem was you didn’t log out. You must log out every time and limit who see your FB page. The vulture’s are looking for fresh meat, don’t give them some.

I seriously doubt that is the issue. Unless OP was using a public computer in an internet cafe or so on, they were hacked. Some baddies spend a lot of time & effort into cracking into accounts. This sounds a whole lot like victim shaming to me & egregiously trying to cast blame on family & friends (limit who see your fb page!!! My word! The whole point of fb is to get people to read & respond to your posts).

It’s there when I log back in. I refuse to have iPhone in my face 18 hours of day. It will be there when I get around to logging in on FB. But, that’s me, the iPhone not my master.

Well once you out there IMO nearly impossible to delete off cyber space. Even if you delete fb account your data still out there. If you Google you get several hits , but suspect paying someone probably waste of money and I really would trust them. Besides most of you personnel information public anyway. Where you lived, family members court records, ect…

You have been hacked and all your friends are at risk. Happened to me, Facebook did not see a problem with it, some friends got scammed and lost money. Finally after a year of trying I got Facebook to shutdown my account.

I changed my account password, to no avail. I researched how to inactivate or delete account but the security area will not allow me. It’s aggravating of course. I went into all the FB help areas but cannot get to any deactivate or delete.

Can someone guide me??? TIA

So you have not had your car towed, and need me to send gift cards so you can get it out? WHat do I do with these gift cards now.
